Manager Infrastructure Delivery

About the role

Lead delivery of Council's roads, bridges, and civil infrastructure. Scope, budget, and execute construction and maintenance programs and major contracts while managing cross-functional teams to drive strategic regional outcomes.

Duties

  • Scope and execute civil infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to standard.
  • Oversee quality, safety, environmental management systems, and compliance audits.
  • Manage high-value contracts, tender administration, and procurement functions.
  • Lead and mentor engineering, fleet, asset, and property team members.
  • Prepare monthly Council reports, business cases, and community engagement plans.

Skills & experience

  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence and Construction Induction (White) Card.
  • Project management qualification or extensive civil project delivery background.
  • High-level skill in contract administration, budgeting, and project scheduling software.
  • Proven leadership capability with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
