About the role

Support North Queensland mine sites by manufacturing, repairing, testing, and certifying NLT underground communication products. Deliver vital electronic repairs, product support, and network infrastructure maintenance to optimise safety and connectivity across multiple customer locations.

Duties

  • Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair electrical and communication devices.
  • Assemble and test LV and explosion-protected skids for underground use.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert onsite product support and electronic system repairs.
  • Maintain positive client relationships while representing NLT on-site.

Skills & experience

  • Possess Cert III or IV in Telecommunications or equivalent trade background.
  • Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Maintain a Restricted Electrical Workers Licence or the ability to obtain.
  • Demonstrate on-site experience with underground mining communications networks.
  • Utilise AS3800 Certification and strong electronic troubleshooting skills.
