Lead a Team. Strengthen Services. Support Better Outcomes.

BRAMS is seeking a full-time Allied Health Manager to join its Community Services leadership team based in Broome, WA.

Reporting to the Allied Health and Disability Services Executive Manager, this role is focused on supporting a multidisciplinary allied health team, strengthening service quality, and ensuring consumers receive safe, responsive, and culturally appropriate care across a range of community programs.

Working closely with nursing, care management, disability services, and primary health care teams, you will play an important role in helping services respond to the changing needs of the community.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and supporting Allied Health Therapists, Assistants, and Trainees across multiple programs
  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality, evidence-based service delivery
  • Overseeing allied health assessments, care planning, and therapeutic interventions
  • Supporting service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement activities
  • Monitoring clinical risks, incidents, and consumer outcomes
  • Supporting workforce development, supervision, and performance management
  • Contributing to accreditation, audit, and governance requirements
  • Building strong working relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Promoting culturally safe, person-centred care aligned with the BRAMS Model of Care

Bring Your Clinical Leadership, Judgement, and Curiosity

To qualify, you will need current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, 'OR' registration/membership with Speech Pathology Australia. Demonstrated leadership experience within allied health, aged care, disability, community health, or a related clinical environment will also be essential.

Additionally, the following skills and experience will be highly valued:

  • Strong understanding of aged care programs, NDIS services, and contemporary community health service delivery
  • Strong clinical skills, with experience providing clinical leadership and guidance within multidisciplinary environments
  • Sound knowledge of clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement principles
  • Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements within regulated health settings
  • Experience supporting clinicians, managing competing priorities, and maintaining high standards of care
  • Understanding of culturally safe practice and a genuine commitment to working alongside Aboriginal communities

Success in this role requires a leader who can communicate effectively, foster collaboration, and support positive outcomes across multiple service areas.
