About the Opportunity

Integrated Family and Youth Services has an exciting opportunity for a number of Support Worker - Foster Care to join their welcoming team in Cairns.

 

Current, one full-time position and two part-time positions are available. Hours are negotiable within the range of 20-38 hours per week.

Within this vital role, you will actively develop recruitment strategies to engage and secure potential foster carers. In addition, you will play a crucial role in offering training, assessment and support to ensure approved carers provide a nurturing environment to children and young people who are unable to live at home.

The successful applicant will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package circa $39,109 - $43,350 pro-rata per annum, plus super and salary sacrificing of up to 30% is available for permanent positions.
